CHURCH PLANTING IN CUBA
We have been involved in Cuba since 1998 planting churches and Bible schools. We have been very fortunate to have built relationships with quality ministers throughout the nation. Many of these are young apostles with a zeal to put new churches where none exist. Almost all of them begin in someone's house.
A church planting movement has been underway for some time. Winning soul is relatively easy in Cuba. This revival includes many miracles and healing. It's harvest time in Cuba!
The local churches are winning souls to Jesus Christ with amazing speed. They are then water baptized, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Next comes discipleship. The new convert is invited to observe and then to help, in very simple ways, at a new church plant. They may help others lead a chorus or to read a scripture verse. They grow as they are working for the Lord. As they grow in Christ, more responsibility is given to them. Some may become church planters/pastors, themselves.
That is where we come in: we help to resource these willing workers. Many of these have to leave their communist government jobs. We replace their lost salaries. As one young minister said, "You are literally putting food on pastor's tables. Want to help? $25/month will put a new church planter in a town. Bless you, Dear One
